Heiner GOEBBELS

Composer and director Heiner Goebbels (*1952) is one of the most important figures of contemporary music and musical theatre. Works by this German author represent highlights of theatre and contemporary music festivals in the world. His activities are unusually diverse – music for concert stage, radioart, musical theatre performances, he also was active as musician in various formation (art rock group Cassiber, Die Sogennante Linksradikalen etc.). Heiner Goebbels is professor at the Institute of applied theatre studies in Giessen, Germany. His regular collaborations include famous Ensemble Modern or Théâtre Vidy in Lausanne, among other partners are Berlin Philharmonic, Hilliard Ensemble, Les Percussions de Strasbourg, Ensemble Intercontemporain, Orchestra in the Age of Enlightenment etc.
